Leigha Stiles (b. Pembroke, Ontario) is a multi-disciplinary artist working with oil and acrylic paint currently focussing on wearable art and performance. Stiles is a MFA graduate at the University of Ottawa and received her BFAH from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Her work explores themes of mental health, the physical representation of grief, and expressive self-portraiture.

 

Her work has been exhibited in different venues including Matasi Gallery, Connective Gallery, Union Gallery 2016-2019, the Print Pulse 30: Travelling Exhibition, Cezanne’s Closet fundraising event, the Undergraduate Review, Queen’s Feminist Review as well as Viso Magazine.
